Educational and Youth Exchanges

Includes University, High School & Elementary Exchanges, Teachers' Exchanges, Girl Scouts, Sociology Research, and Children's Art School Exchanges.

Some examples of Education and Youth Exchanges sponsored by CUP or CKSCP:

• May 2008 - CUP provided financial support for a trip to Kharkiv by a photography professor from Western Michigan University. During his stay he exhibited his works and lectured at one of the art galleries there
• A Social Studies teacher and six students from Mariemont High School visit their sister school in Kharkiv for two weeks.
• 10 Higher Education Administration interns travel to Cincinnati as part of the U.S. State Department’s Community Connections program.
• A local Girl Scout, and student at St. Ursula, travels to Kharkiv with a CKSCP Board Member to exchange ideas with the Kharkiv Zoo on youth volunteerism.
• A physical education teacher from Kharkiv visits Cincinnati for one month.
• Three Kharkiv chapter American Field Service (AFS) students arrive in Cincinnati for spring semester.
